Free The Killing Essay Sample

English sonnet

Her yelling, screeching sounds are tormenting

She begs the Creator to send a man,

Who holds the power to end lamenting.

The being never came, for God holds a plan.

Eternal night, no stars in sight to guide

Her cries now reach the point of submission

With silence she listens, feeling a stride,

The ground is trembling, filled with suspicion

He reaches forcefully, evil intent

The skeletons hover, refusing aid.

She grasps him, strikes him, begs his heart: repent!

No use are words, her actions have betrayed…

The wind no longer carries her cries out

Her lifeless form will vanish deep in drought.
