Psychology concentrates mostly on individual’s behavior, emotion and thought. Many institutions of psychology have different theories of personality which comprises of different traits used in tearing down personality by use of factor scrutiny. However, several traits differ from the theories but the most insignificant model was invented in psychological institution (Hockenbury, 2010).
The two theories that demonstrate emotion are the theory by Carl Jung and the theory by Sigmund Freud. Freud knowledge on psyche helped in interpretive schemes by resolving unconscious conflict, psychological anguish and psychopathology. However, Freud theory was famous before because it solved the issues of sexuality, repression and lifeless psychology illustrated by common feature of mental progression. The issue was assumed in the past before Freud offered an opportunity in the community for the issue to be discussed freely (Hockenbury, 2010).
The researchers and South African neuroscientist Mark Solms commented on Freud theories because it illustrated brain figures and described his notion on coerce and suppression. Freud’s theory of personality was mocked by several individuals because it divided personality into three parts namely ego, superego and id. The adjustment of Jung theory was conventional and the process was oriented ininstitution of mental thinking (Hockenbury, 2010).
The theory by Jung that portrayed emotion because it used scientific schemes and it turns down introspection scheme of analysis which differed from symbol motivated by advancement in Freudians psychodynamic. However the theory which openly accepts the existence of inner psychological states involves both conviction and rejects behaviorism which is highly accepted in Freud’s theory. Jurg theory was associated with cognitive psychology which failed to recognize suppression and favored surveillance phenomena which was based on operation but defined on experimental analysis (Hockenbury, 2010).
