Introduction

This is a description of the strategy that was used in recruiting, and training of volunteers. Four members in the team worked closely for effective and successful work. The activities that were carried out each day and the cost of each activity have been included. The people that are to be recruited by the firm include the young people of the age between 14 and 19. The unemployed old people who are of above 60 years in age. These people must also be disabled; this was a very hard task for our team. It was very hard to find the unemployed disabled people with their first language not being English. This is a very organized team that was able to attract most of the volunteers who had a potential of working effectively.

Effective Team

All team members worked hard, and closely to ensure that we achieved the best. We employed the theories that had been put forward regarding team work. Interest based relational approach is another theory. This theory respects people's differences. There are set rules that are followed when using this theory in resolving conflicts. There should be a good relationship between the conflicting parties. They should treat each other courteously to avoid conflicts. Listening is an important aspect in resolving conflicts. Everyone should listen to understand why the other party is taking his or her position. Both parties should set the facts and objectives during conflict resolution. Options should be explored to ensure that satisfactory conclusion is reached. Interest based theory would be most helpful in solving the conflicts. When the team members have conflicts, the first step is to make sure that they are in a good relationship before solving their conflicts. They should be able to converse nicely despite their problems. A good environment for conversing should be created. This will help in ensuring that they are able to converse to each other without any problem.

The goals and objectives should be set that is to the interest of the whole team. This will help in minimizing favoritism. All possible options should be explored to ensure that the problem is resolved satisfactorily with respect to the interest of the team. There are numerals of theories that have been put forward to explain conflict resolution. The first theory is conflict styles theory. This theory was put forward by Thomas-Kilmann. There are different styles, which a person tends towards when conflict arises. Competitive style is one of them People who tend to this style are in high positions. This is necessary when there is a serious decision to be made. Collaborative style is another one. People who believe that everyone is important use this style. Compromising style, on the other hand, is used when the solution is expected to satisfy everyone. With the accommodating style, it highlights the importance of meeting others wishes at the expense of owns. Avoiding is another style. Some people may decide to avoid conflicting with others, and this is one way of resolving conflicts. The style that meets ones interest is best suitable in resolving conflicts.

As a team we worked together closely. Conflicts are always present in every team. There are set rules that are followed when using this theory in resolving conflicts. There should be a good relationship between the conflicting parties. They should treat each other courteously to avoid conflicts. The conflicting parties we encouraged to listen to each other. Listening is an important aspect in resolving conflicts. Everyone should listen to understand why the other party is taking his or her position.  The objectives were set during conflict resolution. Options were explored to ensure that satisfactory conclusion is reached . When the team members have conflicts, We ensured that they are in a good relationship before solving their conflicts. They should be able to converse nicely despite their problems. A good environment for conversing should be created. Effective Presentation

An effective presentation is one that the presenter tries as much as possible to understand the listeners. Knowing what the audience wants to listen to is important. The main aim of every presentation is to sell the topic. It is important for every presenter to set the goals of his or her presentation before doing it. The presenter should inform the audience what he or she expects before and after the presentation. It is essential for the presenter to anticipate the questions that he or she might be asked during presentation. Research on the possible questions is also advisable. Listening to other presentation similar to own presentation is necessary. This will enable one to make adjustments to fit the audience. The presenter should also keep time in presentation. No one should a very long or short presentation. The presentation should be organized and well planned. A formal format must be followed if necessary.

Impression is another factor, the presenter should dress well, and the first words should be well prepared. Practicing the first words is very important; it will increase one's confidence in presentation. The opening remarks will increase the listener's curiosity. Believing in oneself is another factor. The listeners should see in your presentation that the presenter knows what he or she is doing. This will attract them to give their undivided attention. The audience should be aware of what to expect. This will help them understand the presentation well and show some interest. It is very important to engage the listeners during presentation. There are different ways of engaging the listener in presentation. Charts and diagrams can be used in presentation to boost the listeners' attention.

We had a very organized and planned presentation. A formal format that we had been provided with was followed. Our main objective was to sell the team, to be selected as the best team. We worked towards that objective. The audience were informed on what to expect in our presentation before. Decision Making and Prioritization

DSS should provide making sufficient and essential support to decision making. That is to say, the system should not only computerize the decision process. The cafe information system should be also able to react to the change made by the management at any time. The decision support system that was used in this case made decision easier. It has been evident that change seems to occur at any stage of development and/or implementation. Actions in the team were done at a higher speed hence efficiency. There is fast decision making since the members can access the system wherever he is and make relevant decisions. The information of weekly work was available. The comparison between the tasks of subsequent weeks was available. The availability of this information enabled the team members in making decision on whether to re schedule task, or go on with the same plan. This information will also be made available to the team members in every location. This is important as it enables them r to access the information in any branch. The comparison of the tasks enables the management in knowing whether they going as per schedule.

Organization is essential of every team success. Prioritization is the most challenging activity. All the team members should be willing to share their thoughts to ensure a well-prepared schedule. They should be able to work hard to meet the set deadline. Cooperation of all the team members is also important. This will ensure total satisfaction of work schedule for all team members.
